Customer Service Warehouse- Reinders

About the role

Customer Service Warehouse Associates deliver exceptional customer experiences to commercial and residential consumers in the green industry. You will serve customers in person, by phone, and through online ordering, while supporting sales teams, managing inventory, and maintaining a safe warehouse environment.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrate exceptional customer service to all Reinders/SiteOne customers
• Cultivate and manage strong customer relationships
• Assist customers with questions and needs via phone, in-person, or online ordering
• Develop and communicate customer quotes
• Support Reinders/SiteOne sales and service teams
• Pull and prepare inventory orders for pickup or delivery
• Partner with store leadership to implement new technologies and improve business performance
• Load and unload orders, assist with merchandising, manage inventory, and maintain warehouse safety
• Operate a forklift to load and unload vehicles
• Occasionally deliver orders to customers and maintain appropriate Tier driver status
• Perform other duties as assigned

Requirements

• Minimum of 1 year experience in a retail or wholesale setting (preferred)
• Excellent customer service and communication skills
• Green industry experience or knowledge of landscape, nursery, or irrigation products (a plus)
• Willingness to learn and adopt new technologies
• Ability to think quickly and make sound decisions
• Inventory management experience (helpful)
• Able to lift a minimum of 50 pounds
• Valid driver’s license
• Qualify as fit for duty under federal DOT guidelines (federal medical card required for Tier driver status)
• Ability to pass forklift operator course and drive a forklift
• High school diploma or equivalent (preferred)

Work Environment

Work is performed in a store setting, warehouse environment, and occasionally outdoors. The noise level is usually moderate. The role involves working near equipment such as pallet jacks, delivery trucks, and lawn/turf equipment.
