Pay

$19 – $22 per hour

About the role

Ewing Outdoor Supply is seeking a customer‑service‑oriented Warehouse Service Professional/Delivery Driver for its Tacoma location. The role combines delivery and warehouse duties in a fast‑paced distribution environment, emphasizing safety, customer service, and teamwork. The successful candidate will be able to lift 50–70 lb, develop product knowledge, and assist at the sales counter as they grow. Prior green‑industry or landscape experience is preferred but not required, and bilingual English/Spanish skills are a plus.

Responsibilities

• Engage customers and go the extra mile to provide service.
• Greet and direct customers in the store.
• Deliver a wide variety of items to multiple addresses following assigned routes and schedules.
• Load, unload, prepare, inspect, and operate a delivery vehicle.
• Inform customers about new products and services.
• Follow DOT regulations and safety standards.
• Ensure racks are fully stocked.
• Coordinate with team members to deliver excellent customer service, especially during peak times.
• Provide accurate product information, pricing, and after‑sales services.
• Answer customer questions about specific products/services.
• Conduct price and feature comparisons to facilitate purchasing.
• Cross‑sell products and relay customer feedback to the Store Manager.
• Stay up‑to‑date with new products and services.

Requirements

• Customer‑oriented attitude with the ability to adapt to different personalities.
• Ability to multitask, prioritize, and manage time effectively.
• Basic math skills.
• Capability to lift 50–70 lb.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to build trusting relationships.
• Ability to perform in fast‑paced environments.
• Valid driver’s license and good driving record with no traffic violations.
• Excellent organizational and time‑management skills.

Bonus Points

• Bilingual (English/Spanish).
• Ability to operate forklifts and tractors in various weather and traffic conditions (training provided for the right candidate).
• Proven experience as a Customer Service Associate, Sales Associate, or similar role.
• Knowledge of inventory stocking procedures.
