Job Summary

The Director of Data & Analytics at Jackpot.com is responsible for driving data-driven decision-making across the organization. Reporting to the Chief Data Officer, this role will lead a team of data scientists and analysts to deliver actionable insights that inform product development, marketing strategies, and fraud prevention efforts.

About the Role

As the Director of Data & Analytics, you will be instrumental in shaping the company's data strategy and ensuring that all data initiatives align with business objectives. You will work closely with cross-functional teams including product management, marketing, and engineering to develop and implement data pipelines, build predictive models, and conduct A/B testing.

Responsibilities

• Lead a team of data scientists and analysts to deliver high-quality analytics solutions
• Develop and maintain data pipelines using tools like Airflow and Fivetran
• Build and deploy machine learning models to improve product performance and customer engagement
• Conduct A/B testing and other statistical analyses to inform product decisions
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure data-driven decision-making
• Ensure compliance with data privacy regulations and best practices

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, or related field
• 5+ years of experience in data science, analytics, or a similar role
• Experience with Python, SQL, and data visualization tools such as Tableau or PowerBI
• Strong understanding of data engineering principles and best practices
• Experience with data warehousing technologies like Snowflake or Redshift
• Experience with data modeling and causal inference techniques
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills
