Customer Service/Service Advisor

Responsibilities

• Greet customers and help them determine repairs and relevant costs.
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge about Boss Shops range of services and contact customers to update them about their vehicle's repair status.
• Coordinate the service center’s scheduling and workflow.
• Create estimates and work orders, finalize payments, follow all cash handling policies, place parts orders, and collect for all jobs.
• Answer customer questions about service outcomes and consult with Technicians as needed.
• Communicate needed repairs to customers and understand the customer’s needs.
• Keep customer-facing items clean, stocked, and updated.
• Receive merchandise, stock, and update pricing for all showroom products.
• Maintain a complete understanding of the Boss Shop Warranty process.
• Assign work to technicians within the guidelines of the company.
• Practice and adhere to all company safety policies and procedures to ensure a safe environment.
• Report for work in a timely manner when scheduled.

Qualifications

• Valid Driver’s license and insurable to drive.
• Able to maintain working knowledge of parts inventory.
• Able to complete the Service Advisor New Team Member Training within the first 90 days of employment.
• Able to work on the computer system efficiently.
• Ability to read, write, and perform math skills.
• Positive, enthusiastic attitude.
• Flexible with the ability to adapt to change when required.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule to meet the needs of the business, may require weekends and evenings.
• Reliable transportation and phone.
• Able and willing to deliver friendly, courteous, and prompt customer service.
• Able and willing to work cooperatively with other team members.

Pay

Pay Range: $16.00 - $25.00 per hour depending upon qualifications and experience.

Schedule

Flexible schedule to meet the needs of the business, may require weekends and evenings.
