Customer Service/Service Advisor

Responsibilities

• Greet customers and help them determine repairs and relevant costs.
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge about Boss Shops range of services and contact customers regarding their vehicle's repair status.
• Coordinate the service center’s scheduling and workflow.
• Create estimates and work orders, finalize payments, follow all cash handling policies, place parts orders, and collect for all jobs.
• Answer customer questions about service outcomes and consult with Technicians as needed.
• Communicate needed repairs to customers and understand the customer’s needs.
• Keep customer-facing items clean, stocked, and updated.
• Receive merchandise, stock, and update pricing for all showroom products.
• Understand and communicate the Boss Shop Warranty process.
• Assign work to technicians within company guidelines.
• Adhere to company safety policies and procedures.
• Report for work in a timely manner when scheduled.

Qualifications

• Retail or guest service experience preferred.
• Valid Driver’s license and insurable to drive.
• Able to maintain working knowledge of parts inventory.
• Able to complete Service Advisor New Team Member Training within 90 days of employment.
• Able to work on the computer system efficiently.
• Read, write, and perform basic math skills.
• Possess a positive, enthusiastic attitude.
• Flexible with the ability to adapt to change.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Able to work a flexible schedule, including weekends and evenings.
• Able to communicate in English.

Pay

Pay Range: $16.00 - $25.00 per hour, depending upon qualifications and experience.

Schedule

The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 lbs., stand, walk, use hands and fingers, handle or feel, reach with hands and arms, talk, and hear; occasionally sit, climb, or balance, stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl.
