Customer Service – Self Storage Manager

Responsibilities

• Work independently at multiple locations, spending time both inside and outside
• Assess customer storage needs and make suggestions, including selling packing and moving supplies
• Perform daily storage unit inspections to confirm inventory and availability and ensure spaces are ready to rent
• Audit cash drawers and make bank deposits as part of the daily business
• Help keep customers current with payments and make reminder and collection calls when required
• Perform cleaning and daily maintenance tasks, including sweeping and mopping interior areas and maintaining exterior grounds and curb appeal clean and free of debris

Physical Requirements

• Ability to transport, lift, and move items weighing up to 35 pounds
• Ability to walk in and around facilities, spending up to 50% of time in outdoor environments, including climbing stairs and opening large doors

Qualifications

• Experience in a variety of customer service-centered sales environments, including retail, restaurant, fast food, or other service-based companies
• Valid driver's license and use of own vehicle to travel between different work locations and/or while conducting other work-related business (mileage reimbursement available)
