Customer Service Security Officer

Wage: $15.00/hour

Responsibilities

• Provide a report every hour and complete a site task every half hour
• Perform site tasks that may require walking in the parking lot
• Sign in trucks, contractors, badge holders, and visitors (typically at the beginning and end of shifts)
• Complete data records in an Excel spreadsheet
• Observe and report activities and incidents at an assigned client site to ensure the security and safety of client property and personnel
• Maintain a safe and secure environment by actively monitoring premises, including patrolling various locations
• Preserve order and enforce regulations and directives for personnel, visitors, and the area
• Provide customer service and information to client’s employees and customers

Frequent sitting, standing, and walking for long periods, which may include climbing stairs, walking up inclines, and on uneven terrain. Additional physical requirements may include frequent lifting and/or moving up to 10 pounds and occasional lifting and/or moving up to 25 pounds.

Requirements

• Excellent customer service skills
• Must pass a drug screen and background check
• Must meet and continue to meet any applicable state, county, and municipal licensing requirements for Security Officers
• Retail, food service, or hospitality industry background is a plus, but no prior experience is necessary
