About the role
The Trailer Parts Sales & Customer Representative plays a key role in delivering an exceptional customer experience while supporting business growth. This position blends customer support and sales by serving as a trusted point of contact for customers, helping them place orders, resolve issues, and identify solutions that meet their needs. As a Trailer Parts Sales & Customer Representative, you’ll work across multiple communication channels to provide timely, accurate support while building strong customer relationships that drive satisfaction, efficiency, and long-term success.
Responsibilities
- Serve as the primary contact for customers via phone, email, and chat, assisting with orders, returns, and delivery updates.
- Provide accurate product information, including specifications, pricing, and availability.
- Resolve customer questions and concerns efficiently to ensure a positive experience.
- Understand customer needs and recommend products that align with their business goals.
- Identify opportunities to upsell or cross-sell complementary products and services.
- Process customer orders accurately and coordinate with internal teams (warehouse, logistics, etc.) to ensure timely fulfillment.
- Maintain accurate customer and sales data to support reporting and analysis.
- Confidently manage complex or unclear customer requests, escalating issues when necessary to ensure timely resolution.
Requirements
- A high school diploma or equivalent required; bachelor’s degree in a business-related or technical field preferred.
- Prior experience in customer service, counter sales, or inside sales is a plus.
- Ability to learn and apply product knowledge quickly; experience with light-duty trailer products is preferred.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask and manage priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with a customer-focused mindset.
- Experience using CRM systems and order processing tools is preferred.
