Customer Service Representative - Patient Financials (Days) (Part-Time)

Responsibilities

• Timely and accurate responses to all calls and email inquiries
• Aids in deceased patient accounts, bankruptcy determinations, and attorney requests
• Assists with receipt and distribution of PFS correspondence
• Provides excellent customer service to internal and external customers
• Resolves patient concerns through good communication skills

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED
• Two years of related experience
• Working knowledge of specialized practices, equipment, and procedures
• Business-like appearance
• Neat and pleasant demeanor
• Ability to communicate with a variety of people
• Ability to work closely with others
• Ability to analyze and prioritize workloads
• Ability to be assertive without being abrasive
• Two (2) years experience in patient accounting
• Must be able to spell and write business letters effectively and grammatically correctly
• Knowledge of spreadsheets and word processing is helpful but not required
• Detail oriented
• Good verbal communication skills
