Customer Service Representative (Part-Time Temp)

We want you to join our team as a Customer Service Agent within our vision and dental team. You’ll be the cornerstone of our customer support operations, interacting with Federal employees and customers via email and telephone to assist with account updates, program information, and outbound calls to ensure the best customer experience. You’ll also support various administrative tasks as needed.

Responsibilities

• Interact with Federal employees and customers via email and telephone.

• Handle outbound calls to ensure customers have the best experience possible.
• Support various administrative tasks as needed.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• At least 1 year of customer service experience or demonstrated strength in customer service skills, call center, or similar experience preferred.
• Experience with web-based customer service systems is required; familiarity with work distribution systems is a plus.
• Ability to work efficiently in a high-volume environment.
• Strong multitasking abilities with keen attention to detail.
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Ability to make sound decisions and escalate issues when necessary.
• Professionalism and tact in handling diverse customer interactions.

Schedule

• Temporary role: October 2, 2026 through end of February 2027.
• 1 full week of paid training (must be available first week from 8:30 AM–5:00 PM EST).
• Part-time hours: Monday–Friday, 10:00 AM–2:00 PM.
• Hybrid work opportunity.
• All equipment provided.

Pay

• Compensation: $18.66/hour + $5.09 health and wellness benefit (up to 40 hours per week).
