Overview (Scope Of Role)

The Customer Service Representative will manage standard orders for a customer portfolio with moderate complexity across various segments. This role may handle more intricate processes such as consignment stock, consignment, gastoation, or returns. It is a hybrid position based in Midland, MI, with 2-3 days per week in the office.

Responsibilities

  • Ensure all customer orders are entered, processed, and confirmed within agreed timelines with high accuracy via multiple channels.
  • Follow through the order lifecycle, keeping orders updated and proactively communicating changes to customers and issuing order reconfirmations.
  • Maintain customer-specific master data (outputs, CMIR, contacts) to ensure automated processes flow smoothly.
  • Monitor mailboxes, faxes, and phones, respond to customer inquiries and resolve complaints.
  • Foster and build strong relationships with customers, identify repeat issues or trends impacting customer satisfaction.
  • Process "Ask Trinseo" inquiries and enter leads into Salesforce.

Qualifications

  • Minimum of Associates Degree (2y) or equivalent training/apprenticeship in Supply Chain, Business Administration, or Commercial fields.
  • 3-5+ years of relevant work experience, preferably in customer service, supply chain, or logistics.
  • Strong Microsoft Office and Excel skills.
  • SAP experience is a plus.
  • Excellent communication skills and customer service orientation.
