Duties and Responsibilities
- Uses personal vehicle for business-related travel within a 30-mile radius and has a valid driver's license. Reimbursement for mileage provided according to IRS standard rates.
- Interacts with customers via telephone, email, or in person to provide support and information on products or services.
- Fields customer questions and complaints; delegates to appropriate team members when issues exceed the representative’s knowledge.
- Ensures appropriate actions are taken to resolve customers' problems and concerns.
- Performs clerical duties including typing, filing, and completing forms.
- Weighs trucks, both inbound and outbound.
- Grades grain to ensure proper discounts are applied.
- Operates office machines such as copiers, scanners, phones, voicemail systems, personal computers, and other standard office equipment.
- Answers phones, directs calls, and prepares messages.
- Copies, sorts, and files records related to office activities, business transactions, and other matters.
- Sorts incoming mail and delivers to appropriate departments or individuals, processes outgoing mail.
- Maintains filing systems either manually or electronically.
- Manages calendars and schedules appointments.
- Performs other related duties as assigned.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Customer service/office clerical experience required
- Able to type at least 45 words per minute
- Service-oriented and able to resolve customer grievances
- Proficient computer skills with ability to learn new software
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
- Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines
- Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software
