About the role

As a Customer Service Representative (CSR) you serve a valuable role in our branch by providing a positive first impression through friendly and courteous service while performing efficient and accurate banking transactions. You’ll work Monday through Friday with weekends off, promoting from within as our top priority.

Responsibilities

• Provide friendly, courteous service to clients and build rapport and relationships.
• Perform efficient and accurate banking transactions with great attention to detail.
• Use multiple computer systems and adapt to change.
• Adhere to bank policies and procedures designed to comply with Federal regulations, including the Bank Secrecy Act, USA Patriot Act, and OFAC regulations.
• Reflect WaFd Bank’s corporate values and ethics: integrity, teamwork, ownership, simplicity, discipline, service, and kindness.

Requirements

• High school diploma or approved equivalent.
• Basic math skills, 10-key, and keyboarding proficiency.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office tools (Excel, Word, Teams, Outlook).
• Well-developed smartphone and digital channel skills.
• Organized with excellent communication skills and a personable attitude.
• Previous work in retail, consumer service delivery, or client relations.
• Highly developed sense of integrity and strong work ethic.
• Personable and outgoing; able to talk with clients and build relationships.
