Job Description Medical Equipment Documentation Specialist Needed! Pay Range: $21- $23 hour (based on experience) Position Type: Direct Hire Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:30 a.m.–5:00 p.m. Location: Fully in-office What You’ll Do: Manage patient intake and verify insurance coverage, including Medicare and Medicaid. Prepare and process medical equipment documentation, including CMNs, invoices, and delivery paperwork. Coordinate equipment setup and service for respiratory and durable medical equipment. Communicate with patients, caregivers, referral sources, and internal teams to resolve issues and ensure timely service. Maintain accurate patient records and referral logs while managing multiple priorities and ensuring compliance. What You’ll Bring: High school diploma or GED equivalent required. 1+ year of related work experience preferred. Home healthcare, medical billing, or patient intake experience preferred. Familiarity with insurance verification and reimbursement practices. Knowledge of medical terminology and durable medical equipment (DME) is a plus.
