About The Role We are seeking a Customer Service Representative to join our team at Skills for Chicago. In this role, you will be the frontline representative, responsible for managing high volumes of inbound customer calls with professionalism, empathy, and efficiency. Your primary focus will be to assist clients with various inquiries related to orders, product information, pricing, invoicing issues, credits, and returns. The ideal candidate will demonstrate excellent communication skills, critical thinking, and the ability to navigate multiple systems swiftly to resolve customer concerns effectively. Qualifications Minimum of 1+ year of customer service experience, preferably in a high-volume call center environment.High school diploma or equivalent required.Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, Teams).Experience with Customer Relationship Management (CRM) systems and SAP is advantageous.Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.Ability to work independently and demonstrate critical thinking skills.Comfortable navigating multiple systems and databases efficiently.Excellent problem-solving skills and a customer-focused attitude. Responsibilities Handle a high volume of inbound calls, providing professional and empathetic customer service.Assist customers with order placement, product inquiries, pricing details, invoicing issues, credits, and returns.Navigate multiple internal systems and databases swiftly to resolve customer inquiries accurately and efficiently.Document customer interactions and transactions thoroughly in CRM systems.Identify opportunities to improve service delivery and customer satisfaction.Collaborate with team members and other departments to resolve complex issues and ensure customer needs are met.Maintain up-to-date knowledge of products, services, and company policies to provide accurate information.Participate in ongoing training and development initiatives to enhance customer service skills.
