Customer Service Representative
About the Role
This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to get their foot in the door with a major financial institution and build valuable banking experience. Previous banking experience is not required—strong customer service skills, professionalism, and a willingness to learn are key!
Responsibilities
- Handle high-volume inbound customer service calls
- Assist customers with account questions and general account servicing
- Help with payments, transactions, lost or stolen cards, fraud concerns, and disputes
- Provide digital and online banking support
- Research account issues and help customers reach appropriate resolutions
- Navigate multiple systems and applications while assisting customers
- Provide professional, empathetic, and solution-focused customer service
- Escalate complex issues to the appropriate teams when necessary
Requirements
- Strong customer service and communication skills
- Comfortable working in a high-volume, phone-based environment
- Ability to handle approximately 75-100 inbound calls per day
- Strong computer skills with the ability to navigate multiple systems simultaneously
- Ability to multitask and remain professional in a fast-paced environment
- Strong problem-solving and attention to detail
- Previous customer service or call center experience preferred
- Previous banking or financial services experience is a plus, but not required
- Bachelor's degree preferred but not required depending on experience
Schedule
This is a 24/7 operation, and schedules are assigned prior to the start date. Candidates must have flexibility to work either Saturday or Sunday, with one weekday off.
