About the role
Magnetics, a division of Spang & Company, is seeking a Customer Service Representative based in Pittsburgh, PA.
Responsibilities
- Provide professional and efficient customer service for interactions with the Magnetics Sales Department and external customers.
- Handle the full customer service process from initial phone or email contact through order completion.
- Provide customers with pricing and delivery information.
- Create and process customer quotations and orders in the company’s ERP system (IFS).
- Sending customer confirmations, delivery notes, and invoices.
- Expediting customer orders.
- Resolving customer concerns.
- Consulting with Sales Engineers and the Purchasing, Shipping, Manufacturing, Costing, Compliance, and Logistics departments to ensure accurate order processing.
- Cooking with internal and external personnel to support customer needs.
Qualifications
- A bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, or a related field.
- Up to 3 years of sales and/or customer service experience.
- Strong written and verbal communication, organizational, and computer skills.
- Knowledge of an ERP system is preferred.
