Key Responsibilities

  • Get to know Sealing Devices’ products, pricing, and margin goals.
  • Answer questions about products, availability, applications, pricing, and credit terms with clarity and care.
  • Recommend sealing solutions for demanding aerospace, defense, and government environments.
  • Create accurate quotes and bids for global applications.
  • Troubleshoot orders and gather information via phone, email, fax, or in person.
  • Share delivery timelines, warranty details, service information, and order updates with customers.
  • Build and maintain long-term relationships with customers and vendors.
  • Provide ongoing support and solve problems for customers.
  • Keep accurate customer, order, and inventory records using Oracle and internal systems.
  • Stay informed about new products and technologies to make recommendations.
  • Share customer feedback with product and design teams.
  • Report quality concerns to ensure reliability and high standards.
  • Follow established procedures and offer suggestions to improve work processes.

Requirements

  • Associate’s degree (preferred in Business, Marketing, Finance, or Economics)
  • At least 3 years of experience in customer service, inside sales, or a related role
  • Comfortable using Microsoft Word and Excel
  • Experience with systems like Lotus Notes or Oracle (optional)
  • Think analytically and work through requirements to find the best solution
  • Comfortable juggling tasks and prioritizing in a fast-paced setting
  • Read and understand blueprints for accurate quoting and recommendations
  • Positive attitude and follow through on commitments
