Customer Service Representative

About the Role

The Customer Service Representative is responsible for the cleanliness and sanitation of all assigned areas, performing janitorial duties while adhering to safety protocols and maintaining a professional appearance.

Responsibilities

• Perform all duties listed on the daily schedule, including janitorial tasks and operating motorized cleaning equipment
• Maintain daily upkeep of assigned area and report incidents or hazardous conditions to supervisor
• Comply with safety rules, policies, and procedures, including proper use of personal protective equipment
• Perform work assignments collaboratively with other employees and support shift lead in completing punch-list items
• Perform repetitive tasks while maintaining a clean work area and following all company protocols
• Communicate professionally with leads, supervisors, co-workers, managers, and customers
• Fill in during staff shortages and understand customer service expectations and reporting systems
• Understand and apply knowledge of cleaning methods, equipment, compounds, and chemicals

Requirements

• 3–6 months of training or experience preferred; equivalent combination of education and experience accepted
• May require a valid driver’s license and completion of all safety and task training certifications
• May require forklift certification
• Ability to read and interpret instructions, procedures, manuals, and documents
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Knowledge of cleaning methods, equipment, and safe use of cleaning compounds and chemicals
• Must be a U.S. citizen

Skills

• Bilingual ability is a plus

Physical Demands

• Frequently required to sit, talk, or listen
• Must be able to lift and/or move up to 35 pounds

Schedule

Monday – Friday, 6:00 AM – 2:30 PM

Pay

$15.60 – $16.60 per hour
