Customer Service Representative

About the role

The Customer Service Representative will serve as the initial point of contact for customers, while also supporting accounting operations such as purchasing, accounts receivable/accounts payable, and special projects.

Responsibilities

• Resolve customer issues and complaints to full satisfaction, escalating complex matters as needed.
• Provide exceptional customer service by processing orders, tracking shipments, handling cancellations, and managing returns via phone, email, and in-person interactions.
• Identify opportunities to enhance the customer experience and communicate recommendations to management.
• Maintain accurate records of customer interactions, transactions, and related documentation.
• Represent Method Flow Products professionally by upholding company values and maintaining a positive attitude.
• Perform administrative and clerical duties, including mail distribution, file management, correspondence preparation, report generation, copying, filing, and phone system database maintenance.
• Cook and assist with catering, assist Accounting with Purchasing, AR/AP activities and special projects, and perform other assigned duties.
• Demonstrate strong time management, professionalism, adaptability, and change management skills.
• Build and maintain positive working relationships with co-workers, clients, vendors, and business partners.

Qualifications

• A high school diploma or GED is required.
• A college degree is preferred.
• A valid driver's license is required.
• One to three years of administrative experience is preferred.
• Experience with engineering, manufacturing, and/or oil and gas environments is strongly preferred.
• Strong computer skills and in-depth knowledge of Microsoft Windows-based programs are required.
• The ability to effectively learn and acquire new knowledge and skills is necessary.
• Excellent organization and planning skills are essential.
• Responsibility and reliability are key traits.
• Some activities may require being outside of regular business hours.
