Customer Service Representative

We are looking for a detail-oriented Customer Service Representative to join our team in Florence, Kentucky in a contract position with the potential to become permanent. This role supports issue resolution across invoicing, receiving, and returned materials, requiring strong analytical thinking and clear communication with vendors, service centers, and warehouse teams. The ideal candidate is comfortable working with data, navigating warehouse and business systems, and helping ensure billing and inventory records are accurate. Responsibilities: • Review invoice and receiving discrepancies to identify why billed quantities differ from materials recorded as received • Coordinate with suppliers to confirm shipment details and verify whether questioned items were sent • Partner with distribution center personnel to research and locate materials reported as missing • Examine return issues involving materials sent back from service centers and determine the source of record variances • Communicate with service center teams to validate return activity and gather supporting information • Work closely with warehouse staff to track down missing returned items and resolve inventory questions • Maintain accurate documentation of findings, updates, and resolution steps within company systems • Provide additional customer service and operational support duties as business needs allow • Experience in customer service, order entry, data entry, or a related operations support role • Strong ability to analyze data and identify discrepancies in billing, inventory, or purchase order information • Working knowledge of warehouse management or enterprise systems such as SAP • Proficiency with Microsoft Office, especially Excel and Outlook • Effective written and verbal communication skills for working with vendors and internal teams • High attention to detail and accuracy when handling records, invoices, and returned goods information • Ability to manage multiple tasks, follow through on open issues, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment TalentMatch® Robert Half is the world’s first and largest specialized talent solutions firm that connects highly qualified job seekers to opportunities at great companies.
