Responsibilities
- Interact with customers via telephone, email, or in person to provide support and information on products or services.
- Collect and enter orders for new or additional products or services.
- Fields customer questions and problems; when the issue is beyond the representative’s knowledge, forwards to the assigned specialist or other appropriate staff.
- Safeguards customer accounts and records of customer interactions with details of inquiries, complaints, or comments.
Requirements
- A high school diploma or equivalent (GED).
- Six months of experience in retail or customer service.
- Excellent customer service skills.
- Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, and percentages.
- Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists.
- Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.
- Ability to effectively communicate in English.
Qualifications
- Located in the Chicago area and available to work full-time on-site.
- Hours are Monday-Friday, 9:30am-6:00pm.
