About the role
Precision Aviation Group (PAG) is seeking a Customer Service Representative for Aviation Welding Technologies, LLC in Uxbridge, MA. This position serves as the primary point of contact for customer inquiries and ensures orders are processed accurately.
Responsibilities
- Handles customer inquiries and represents customers within the facility.
- Reviews customer requirements for all assigned orders to ensure they are processed according to negotiated specifications.
- Coordinates demand scheduling and aligns with Production Management.
- Develops detailed quotes based on inspection details and manages customer databases.
- Ensures fulfillment of company and customer requirements regarding timing, price, and satisfaction.
- Evaluates and coordinates product exchange applicability (MRO Exchange programs) with Materials and Purchasing.
- Communicates with production, shipping, warehouse, or common carrier personnel to expedite or trace shipments.
- Provides continuous feedback on order status to customers throughout the production cycle.
- Interacts with individuals at all organizational levels, maintaining a polite and professional demeanor.
- Communicates proactively with customers to anticipate their needs and resolve issues promptly.
- Works overtime, shifts, and weekends as needed.
Requirements
- High school diploma required; a college degree in a business-related field is preferred.
- At least 1 year of customer service experience.
- Experience working in the aviation industry or manufacturing environment preferred.
Qualifications
- Physical demands: Sitting or standing for extended periods, frequent walking, bending, and reaching. Occasional squatting, lifting, carrying, pushing, or pulling up to 20 pounds. Repetitive hand movement, eye-hand coordination, and manual dexterity required. Corrected vision and hearing to normal range necessary.
