Customer Service Representative

Location: Bakersfield, CA • Temporary assignment (minimum 12 weeks, potential to extend)

Pay & Schedule

• Pay: $24.00/hour
• Schedule: On-site, Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–5:00 PM

Responsibilities

• Answer incoming customer calls and emails regarding service requests, deliveries, pickups, relocations, and equipment repairs.
• Enter and verify work orders, service tickets, and customer information with a high level of accuracy.
• Prepare quotes and assist with order entry as needed.
• Coordinate with billing regarding customer payments and account questions.
• Work closely with dispatch, sales, operations, and field personnel to ensure customer needs are met.
• Resolve customer concerns professionally while providing timely follow-up.
• Prioritize multiple requests and complete tasks within established deadlines.
• Maintain accurate records and provide administrative support as needed.

Requirements

• Previous customer service, administrative, dispatch, or service coordination experience preferred.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Comfortable handling a high volume of phone calls and emails.
• Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office, including Outlook, Word, and Excel.
• Positive attitude with the ability to work well in a team environment.
• Ability to adapt in a fast-paced office setting.

Preferred Experience

• Experience in industries such as construction, equipment rental, logistics, transportation, waste services, utilities, or other service-based operations is a plus, but not required.
