Customer Service Representative
About the role
This position involves providing exceptional customer service through phone and email communication. The role requires gathering and addressing customer concerns, educating customers to prevent future issues, and documenting interactions efficiently and professionally.
This is a hybrid role requiring in-office presence for training and the initial weeks post-training. Employees must reside within an hour's commute of the office and be able to reliably attend the office twice a week. The office remains open for those preferring not to work from home or experiencing internet issues.
Responsibilities
- Deliver outstanding customer service and resolve issues on the first call
- Manage incoming calls and emails, including escalated issues
- Assist with user registration, login, and website navigation
- Address general inquiries about available applications
- Collaborate with Account Management on complex issues
- Conduct phone surveys with members
- Perform various other job-related tasks as assigned
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED
- Proven skills in customer service and issue resolution
- Strong attention to detail and active listening skills
- Proficiency in MS Word and MS Excel
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Friendly telephone demeanor
- Flexibility to work varied schedules and overtime as needed
- Successful background check and drug screening
Preferred: 1-3 years of experience in a technical call center or related field.
Schedule
Available shifts:
- 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM
- 8:30 AM - 5:00 PM
- 9:00 AM - 5:30 PM
- 10:00 AM - 6:30 PM
Mandatory in-office training: September 21, 2026 - October 2, 2026 (8:30 AM - 5:00 PM).
Pay
$16/hour (W2).
