Customer Service Representative

Responsibilities
- Process customer inquiries/communications via email, phone, or other means in a timely, accurate, and professional manner.
- Support the sales team to ensure customer quotes and orders are accurate and complete.
- Maintain a positive attitude toward all customers (both internal and external) and promote company products and services.
- Respond timely and effectively to customer inquiries and concerns/complaints.
- Attend regular customer service departmental meetings.
- Coordinate and manage in-house follow-ups on pending quotations, proposals, and customer inquiries.
- Identify new sales opportunities within the medical, specialty gas, fill plants, and industrial markets for Superior’s product lines.
- Follow up on new customer leads as identified by management.
- Actively ensure customer base retention.
- Provide back-up support to other sales/customer service team members.
Requirements
- Associates degree or certificate required; or in lieu of a degree, equivalent years of experience will be considered.
- 3+ years’ experience providing exceptional customer service and inside sales in a manufacturing environment.
- Knowledge of compressed gas products is highly beneficial.
- Experience with Caelus or other ERP systems is a plus.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Outlook and Excel.
