About the role

As part of the Contract Logistics team at Kuehne+Nagel, you will play a key role in designing, managing, and optimizing solutions that keep goods moving efficiently. Your work ensures that our customers’ pharmaceutical products are stored, handled, and delivered with precision, impacting businesses and communities around the world. This position supports pharmaceutical inbound operations by managing customer communications, coordinating shipments, ensuring regulatory compliance, maintaining accurate documentation, and delivering exceptional service in a fast-paced warehouse environment.

Applicants must be currently authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis without the need for current or future employer sponsorship.

Responsibilities

  • Manage daily inbound schedules, monitor receiving queues, and confirm appointment bookings with carriers and clients.
  • Validate all inbound paperwork (COAs, packing lists, BOLs, ASN data, temperature logs) for completeness and compliance with pharmaceutical standards.
  • Ensure receiving processes meet GDP, FDA, DEA, and client-specific requirements; escalate discrepancies immediately.
  • Serve as the main contact for inbound-related inquiries, providing timely updates on shipment status, discrepancies, and resolutions.
  • Enter and maintain inbound orders in WMS/ERP systems; verify ASN accuracy; ensure real-time data integrity.
  • Investigate receiving variances, damaged goods, temperature excursions, or missing documentation; coordinate corrective actions with warehouse and QA.
  • Generate daily/weekly inbound reports, monitor KPIs (OTIF, receiving turnaround time, discrepancy rate), and support continuous improvement.
  • Work closely with warehouse leads, QA, inventory control, and transportation teams to ensure smooth inbound flow.
  • Assist with new client setup, SOP alignment, and documentation requirements for inbound processes.
  • Verify cold-chain documentation, ensure proper handling instructions are communicated, and escalate any temperature deviations.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • 2+ years of full-time customer service experience in a warehousing or distribution environment.
  • Experience in pharmaceutical logistics, 3PL operations, or regulated supply chain is strongly preferred.
  • Excellent communication, documentation accuracy, and problem-solving skills.
  • Intermediate skills in Microsoft Excel, Outlook, and Teams.
  • Strong ability to quantify results and create accurate reporting.
  • Experience with Blue Yonder or any Warehouse Management System (WMS).
  • English fluency (written and verbal).

Schedule

Monday - Friday, 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM.
