Customer Service Representative

About the role

You will serve as the liaison between Klöckner Pentaplast (kp) and assigned customers, coordinating all in‑house contact with customers, salespeople, and kp employees who are placing orders or making inquiries about product availability, order status, or shipment dates.

Responsibilities

• Process orders and track deadlines, including order entry, order tracking, and invoicing in the system.
• Support resolving credit holds together with Sales Admin/SCC.
• Maintain updated shipping information for all customer orders in SAP.
• Handle order changes in cooperation with all relevant departments.
• Support the entire supply chain together with representatives and operational interfaces at various locations.
• Complete country‑ and region‑specific formalities and documentation.
• Monitor customer‑specific stock levels for recurring product orders.
• Monitor and process overdue stock.
• Develop SAP reports.
• Monitor late orders, conduct follow‑up, and coordinate corrective actions.
• Manage delivery dates and address late orders.
• Respond to customer and sales inquiries regarding order status.
• Inform customers about expected delivery dates or delays.
• Ensure optimal supply‑chain performance through continuous follow‑up.
• Observe the FIFO (first‑in‑first‑out) principle.

Requirements

• Associate’s degree (A.A.) or equivalent from a two‑year college or technical school; or six months to one year related experience and/or training; or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

Skills

• Strong English skills, both written and verbal.
• Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, proportions, percentages, area, circumference, and volume.
• Ability to apply basic algebra and geometry concepts.
• Strong computer skills with experience in SAP and Salesforce (strongly preferred).
• Preferred language skill: Spanish fluency.
