Customer Service Representative

Location: Oglesby, IL Company: John's Service & Sales, Inc. Schedule: Full-Time | 40 Hours per Week Pay: Up to $17.00 per hour, based on experience Position Overview John's Service & Sales is seeking a friendly, organized, and dependable Customer Service Representative to serve as the first point of contact for our customers. This person will play an important role in keeping daily operations running smoothly by answering phones, assisting customers, coordinating service requests and dispatching, and providing administrative support to the team. The ideal candidate is comfortable working in a fast-paced environment, communicating with customers and technicians, and managing multiple tasks throughout the day. Key Responsibilities Answer incoming phone calls and provide professional, friendly customer serviceServe as the first point of contact for customers and help address questions, service needs, and scheduling requestsAssist with dispatching technicians and coordinating service callsSchedule appointments and communicate service information with customers and team membersSend and respond to customer and internal emailsEnter, update, and maintain customer and service informationAssist with organizing schedules and daily workflowUse Microsoft Office and Google Sheets for tracking, communication, and administrative tasksProvide general office and administrative support as neededMaintain a professional and positive experience for every customer Qualifications Previous customer service, dispatching, administrative, or office experience preferredStrong communication and phone skillsExperience using Microsoft Office, including Outlook, Word, and ExcelExperience using Google SheetsStrong organizational and time-management skillsAbility to multitask and manage changing prioritiesComfortable working in a fast-paced environmentProfessional, dependable, and customer-focused attitudeAbility to work independently while also supporting a team Compensation & Benefits Pay up to $17.00 per hour, based on experienceFull-time schedule – 40 hours per weekMedical, Dental, and Vision insurance for the employeeNo payroll deductions for employee coverageOpportunity to work with a growing and established local company If you enjoy helping people, staying organized, and being at the center of a busy operation, we'd love to hear from you.
