Customer Service Representative

About the role

The Clean Water Center is your one stop water resource. We provide extensive testing, inspection, consultation and treatment to solve water quality issues of any kind. The Clean Water Center is a subsidiary of AO Smith, an industry leader and international manufacturer of water heating and treatment equipment headquartered in Milwaukee, WI. This is an in‑person position.

Responsibilities

• Handle outbound and inbound phone calls to schedule service and identify sales opportunities
• Act as the main point of contact in the department for contractor orders and scheduling
• Perform data entry
• Assist walk‑in retail customers
• Enter sales orders
• Place reminder calls to existing customers
• Perform other tasks as assigned

Requirements

• Very outgoing and personable
• Strong organizational skills
• Ability to multi‑task effectively
• Basic understanding of accounts receivable and sales order creation (strongly preferred)
• Experience with SAP or SalesForce is a plus but not required
• Ability to lift 50 lbs to assist showroom customers with loading items
• Capable of working in a rapidly changing environment, adapting on the fly while adhering to company policy and procedure
• Ability to work both as a team member and independently
• Outstanding communicator

Pay

$18.00 – $20.00 per hour
