Customer Service Representative

About the role

The Service Department seeks a Customer Service Representative in Leesville, LA to foster a positive image for Champion Home Builders, act as a liaison between homeowners, retailers, and the company, and resolve warranty issues.

Responsibilities

• Foster a positive attitude and image for Champion Home Builders to retailers and homebuyers.
• Be an asset to retailers and homeowners; find ways to say "yes" rather than "no."
• Answer incoming phone calls and email inquiries promptly, thoroughly, courteously, and accurately.
• Interface between homeowners, retailers, and Champion to resolve warranty issues.
• Write accurate service orders and parts orders for contractors and technicians to complete warranty work.
• Take ownership of specific duties as assigned by supervisors; work without close supervision.
• Manage warranty work using proprietary software.
• Assist in maintaining a database of homeowners and open work orders.
• Cross-train to be a parts coordinator.
• Perform other reasonable and related business duties as assigned by the Service Manager or leadership.

Requirements

• High School diploma or equivalent experience.
• Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
• Computer skills including experience with Word and Excel.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Calm and patient demeanor when working with retailers and homeowners.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Ability to work in a team environment.
• Comfortable multitasking and demonstrating a strong work ethic.

Schedule

Monday through Friday during normal work hours. Overtime is available depending on workload.

Compensation is dependent upon work experience.
