About the role
Chadwell Supply is a successful family-owned business in the maintenance, repair, and operations industry with 29 branches nationwide. We’re growing and need an enthusiastic, energetic Customer Service Representative to answer inbound calls, process quotes, orders, returns, credit card authorizations, and customer requests while working closely with warehouse personnel, account managers, and branch managers.
Responsibilities
- Process stock orders, quotes, and returns accurately.
- Provide substitutes for backordered items when requested.
- Process credit card authorizations on open orders.
- Communicate with sales team, managers, and warehouse personnel to resolve conflicts.
- Answer phones with a clear, friendly tone.
- Read and follow all account notes regarding customer handling.
- Acknowledge and respond to emails promptly.
- Participate in Lunch and Learns and other product-knowledge opportunities.
- Remain logged into call queues during business hours.
Requirements
- Minimum 18 years of age.
- Familiarity with Microsoft Outlook, Excel, and SalesPad.
- Ability to perform data entry and extract order/account information.
- Strong process analysis and improvement skills.
- Ability to multi-task with frequent interruptions.
- Financial aptitude for facilitating profitable customer service and order fulfillment.
- High school diploma or equivalent; some college recommended.
- Average computer literacy and experience.
