Responsibilities
- Provide exceptional service to our passengers by assisting with inquiries about routes, schedules, and fares.
- Ensure clarity and understanding by addressing passenger inquiries and concerns with empathy and professionalism.
- Sell tokens and bus passes, and process payments accurately.
- Maintain a thorough knowledge of CATA’s transit services and updates to relay accurate information effectively.
- Collaborate with team members and contribute to a positive team atmosphere.
- Use technology for tracking inquiries and responses, ensuring efficient operations.
Requirements
- Strong communication abilities to effectively engage with a diverse customer base and articulate information clearly.
- Active listening skills to address passenger inquiries and concerns authentically.
- Adaptability to handle various situations requiring quick thinking and problem-solving skills.
- Detail-oriented to accurately make reservations for CATAGO! and CATARIDE, and maintain records.
- A positive attitude and resilience to navigate busy periods and challenging interactions with grace.
- Commitment to customer satisfaction.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Experience in customer service or a related field is preferred but not required.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends, as needed.
