Customer Service Representative/Admin

About the role

We are seeking a Customer Service Representative I/Admin Support I to work as a floater between our Tanner Quarry, West Huntsville Quarry, and possibly other nearby locations. This position reports to the Area Controller. The successful candidate will have a strong work ethic, intuitive problem-solving skills, and a drive to meet the organization’s needs.

This is a full-time, permanent position. Must be flexible to support Tanner, West Huntsville, and surrounding locations if needed. Weekend work may be required. Overtime is available.

Responsibilities

• Manage front desk and greet visitors
• Provide friendly, professional, and thorough customer service
• Become an iProcurement Super User
• Take and input customer orders
• Dispatch products and material for delivery
• Enter requisitions for purchase orders
• Process incoming invoices from vendors
• Promote team atmosphere at location and across the division
• Assist in processing paperwork for corporate accounting systems such as accounts payable, payroll, etc.
• Assist sales staff with customer service responsibilities
• Order and maintain inventory for office and safety supplies
• Perform other duties as needed at the discretion of managers

Requirements

• High school diploma required
• Prior experience with accounts payable, general accounting, and billing-related tasks preferred
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications
• Excellent customer service skills
• Detail-oriented with a high degree of accuracy and ability to multi-task

Pay

Starting wage is $21.00 per hour, based on verifiable experience.
