Customer Service Representatice

About the role

Gallagher Fluid Handling is a distributor of new, used, and remanufactured pumps, pump parts, and pump packages for various commercial and industrial applications, including oil and gas production, worldwide. This role serves as the primary customer contact, handling inquiries about products or services to enhance customer satisfaction and drive revenue.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary customer contact for all inquiries.
• Process customer requests, source and negotiate with suppliers, provide quotes, and complete contract review and PO acceptance.
• Enter orders through P21 following established procedures.
• Follow up, monitor, and expedite customer orders; assist purchasing with supplier order expediting.
• Manage customer requests using resources such as Engineering, Quality, Purchasing, and Accounting.
• Notify the management team of any changes likely to impact the company.
• Support continuous improvement efforts by participating in management initiatives and providing suggestions.
• Manage customer accounts through accurate record-keeping; update and maintain customer information in P21 (ERP).
• Perform all other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Previous customer service, inside sales, or related working experience.
• Experience in a technical or distribution industry is a plus.
• ERP experience, preferably P21.
• CRM experience, preferably SalesForce.
• Strong writing, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Attention to detail and accuracy.
• Experience working both independently and in a team-oriented, collaborative environment.
• Ability to effectively prioritize and execute tasks in a high-pressure environment.
• Proven analytical and problem-solving abilities.
