About the role

The Customer Service Representative (CSR) provides exceptional customer service to internal and external customers of Copart. Through a thorough understanding of Copart practices, the CSR offers solutions that aid and facilitate a unique customer service experience. The primary function of this role is to obtain the release of vehicles located at body shops and/or other locations including residences. In addition to other office support functions as needed, the CSR is often the first interaction customers have with Copart, serving as the face of the company.

Understanding client needs and offering solutions and support, this position may expand to include Chat and Email Customer Support. The role involves answering and placing calls professionally, focusing on call resolution, and using company resources to gather information and meet customer needs. Other duties as assigned.

Responsibilities

  • Obtain the release of vehicles from body shops and other locations, including residences.
  • Provide exceptional customer service to internal and external customers.
  • Answer and place calls in a professional manner, measured on call quality (knowledge, professionalism, follow-up timeliness).
  • Use company resources to gather information and offer solutions to meet customer needs.
  • Perform other office support functions as needed.
  • Potential expansion into Chat and Email Customer Support.

Requirements

  • One year of office support experience in a customer service role preferred.
  • High School diploma.
  • Excellent customer service skills and attitude.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proficient with office equipment.
  • Attention to detail and problem-solving abilities.
  • Computer proficiency, including MS Suite.
  • Typing speed of 45 WPM.
  • Professional appearance.
  • Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment.
  • Bilingual skills a plus.
  • Occasional overtime as needed.

Pay

$18.00 - $20.29 per hour.
