Customer Service Rep

About the role

The Enteral Customer Service Representative (CSR) supports all customer service functions related to order entry and paperwork acquisition for insurance compliance, following procedures established by management within the Enteral business.

Responsibilities

• Calls patients for reorders of their nutrition
• Reviews and ensures all documentation received meets insurance guidelines
• Contacts doctors' offices and hospitals to coordinate patient setups and ensure all billable documents are received
• Works with the intake department to ensure timely verification of benefits and coordinates setups with intake staff, company locations, and referral sources
• Deletes, corrects, or re-enters patient orders as necessary
• Answers phone calls using proper telephone etiquette techniques expected of customer service personnel
