Responsibilities

  • Demonstrate a friendly, positive attitude and provide excellent customer service
  • Take orders over the phone and in person
  • Handle customer concerns professionally
  • Manage cash transactions and provide accurate change
  • Upsell menu items to enhance customer orders
  • Prepare Domino’s high-quality pizzas following food and portion control standards
  • Maintain hygiene and food safety protocols
  • Perform general cleaning duties, including equipment and facility maintenance
  • Operate store equipment and stock ingredients from delivery areas
  • Receive and process telephone orders efficiently
  • Take inventory and complete associated paperwork
  • Communicate clearly with customers and co-workers, both verbally and in writing

Skills & Essential Functions

  • Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide accurately and quickly (may use a calculator)
  • Proficiency in making correct monetary change
  • Strong verbal, writing, and telephone skills for order processing
  • Motor coordination for rapid and precise movements (e.g., entering orders via keyboard or touch screen)
  • Depth perception and ability to differentiate between hot and cold surfaces
  • Ability to direct activities, perform repetitive tasks, work under stress, and meet quality control standards
  • Capacity to analyze and compile data, make judgments, and decisions

Work Conditions

  • Varying and sometimes adverse weather conditions when performing outside tasks (e.g., removing trash)
  • In-store temperatures ranging from 36°F in coolers to 90°F or above in work areas
  • Sudden temperature changes when moving between indoor and outdoor environments
  • Exposure to food odors, cornmeal dust, and cramped quarters (e.g., walk-in cooler)
  • Hot surfaces and tools (ovens up to 500°F or higher) and sharp edges/moving mechanical parts
  • Frequent near and mid-range vision tasks, along with continuous talking and hearing (e.g., phone orders)

Physical Requirements

  • Standing: Most tasks are performed from a standing position
  • Walking: Short distances for brief durations
  • Lifting: Unloading bulk deliveries (cases up to 50 lbs, dimensions up to 3' x 1.5') and stacking onto shelves up to 72" high
  • Carrying:
    • Large cans (3 lbs, 7 oz) from workstation to storage shelves
    • Pizza sauce (30 lbs) from storage to the front of the store
    • Trays of pizza dough (12 lbs per tray, carried three at a time over short distances)
  • Pushing: Moving trays on dollies (stacks of 24–30 trays requiring up to 7.5 lbs of force)
  • Climbing: Infrequent use of stairs or ladders for tasks like changing signs or maintenance
  • Stooping/Bending: Forward bending at the waist (e.g., pizza assembly, stocking ingredients, front counter tasks) for 30–45 seconds at a time, repeated continuously
  • Crouching/Squatting: Occasionally to stock shelves or clean low areas
  • Reaching: Continuous reaching (up, down, and forward) for tasks like shaping pizza dough, which requires frequent and forceful use of forearms and wrists
