Responsibilities
- Operate all store equipment.
- Stock ingredients from delivery area to storage, work area, and walk-in cooler.
- Prepare product and receive/process telephone orders.
- Take inventory and complete associated paperwork.
- Clean equipment and facility approximately daily.
- Make correct monetary change.
- Process orders both over the phone and in person using verbal, writing, and telephone skills.
- Enter orders using a computer keyboard or touch screen.
Requirements
- Must be 16 years of age or older.
- Ability to comprehend and give correct written and verbal instructions.
- Motor coordination between eyes and hands/fingers for rapid and accurate movements.
- Near and mid-range vision for most in-store tasks, including depth perception.
- Ability to differentiate between hot and cold surfaces.
- Ability to direct activities, perform repetitive tasks, work alone or with others, handle stress, and meet quality control standards.
- Strong communication skills for interacting with customers and coworkers.
Skills
- Verbal, writing, and telephone skills for order processing.
- Eye-hand coordination for tasks like shaping pizza dough and using a pizza peel.
- Ability to grasp and manipulate tools such as phones, pizza cutters, and pizza boxes.
- Analytical skills for compiling data, making judgments, and decisions.
Physical Requirements
- Standing: Most tasks are performed from a standing position.
- Walking: Short distances for short durations.
- Stooping/Bending: Forward bending at the waist (e.g., pizza assembly, front counter, stocking ingredients).
- Crouching/Squatting: Occasionally to stock shelves or clean low areas.
- Reaching: Continuously in all directions (up, down, forward) for tasks like turning oven controls, stocking shelves, or answering phones.
- Hand Tasks: Frequent and forceful use of shoulders, forearms, and wrists (e.g., shaping dough, using a pizza peel).
