Customer Service Project Manager

About the role

You will lead project management for customer supply systems involving cryogenic tanks, vaporizers, pumps, high-pressure receivers, controls, and instrumentation for atmospheric gases, hydrogen, and CO₂. Manage projects end-to-end from proposal through implementation, serving as the technical expert supporting regional installation service centers. Design and size supply systems including tank sizing, line sizing, valve specifications, relief valve sizing, and pump sizing using engineering tools. Review fabrication drawings and construction submittals for compliance and provide design recommendations. Coordinate with technicians, sales, and contractors to ensure safe execution, proper training, and adherence to project requirements. Oversee complex and non-standard projects while maintaining budget control and performance expectations. Administer quality documentation and ensure all project records meet internal standards. Facilitate turnkey activities from site surveys through system start-up with contractors and internal teams. Provide technical guidance to less experienced technicians and act as a consultant for engineering recommendations and training. Make timely technical decisions considering safety, cost, feasibility, and operational impact under tight deadlines. Develop innovative engineering solutions to improve safety, reliability, and productivity of supply systems. Deliver technical presentations to internal and external customers. Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Sales, Business Development, Engineering, PDI, PHS, PSI, Logistics, Distribution, Legal, and Safety. Contribute to standards and guideline development to support consistency and best practices across the organization.

Requirements

  • Two (2) years of project management experience in technical or engineering-related work
  • Advanced computer proficiency including Microsoft applications, CAD tools, and Excel
  • Knowledge of design codes and standards such as ASME, NFPA, DOT, and CGA
  • Knowledge of piping materials including application, selection, and specification
  • The ability to meet project schedules and manage tasks to completion
  • Willingness to travel up to 25% to support project and construction activities

Qualifications

  • Advanced degree in engineering or related field
  • Professional Engineer (PE) license preferred
