About the role

This position works closely with commercial paint customers to determine their needs, answer questions about Sherwin-Williams products, and recommend the right solutions. Wholesale Product Specialists promptly resolve customer concerns to ensure maximum satisfaction, stay up-to-date with product features, and maintain high quality and visual standards of products and store. The role involves achieving excellent customer service while consistently meeting the store’s sales goals.

Duties include contact with customers (which may include minors), handling cash and payments, accessing electronic equipment and personal information, and managing store merchandise. A criminal history review is required to protect the business, its operations, reputation, and the safety of customers, staff, and the public.

The selected individual will work at Store #707169, located at 960 Locust, Conway, AR 72034.

Responsibilities

  • Assist customers in person and over the phone by determining needs and presenting appropriate products and services
  • Process sales transactions accurately and consistently with policies and procedures
  • Maintain precise work order files and formulas
  • Tint and mix products, as needed, to customer specifications
  • Clean store equipment
  • Assist in making deliveries, as needed
  • Remain knowledgeable on products offered and discuss available options
  • Suggest ways to improve sales

Requirements

  • Must be at least eighteen (18) years of age
  • Must be legally authorized to work in the country of employment without needing sponsorship for employment work visa status now or in the future
  • Must have a valid, unrestricted Driver’s License
  • Able to retrieve material from shelves and floor stacks and lift and carry up to 50 lbs. frequently and up to 70 lbs. on occasion, with or without reasonable accommodation
  • Willing to work all scheduled hours, which may include evenings and weekends, with or without reasonable accommodation

Preferred Qualifications

  • High School diploma or GED
  • At least one (1) year of experience working in delivery, retail, or customer service
  • Previous work experience selling paint and paint-related products
  • Previous work experience operating tinting and mixing equipment
  • Ability to read, write, comprehend, and communicate in more than one language
  • Ability to read, write, comprehend, and communicate in Spanish
