Customer Service - Part-Time / San Antonio

Barkaritaville Pet Resort of San Antonio, TX is looking to hire a Part-Time Customer Service Specialist to provide 5-star service that gets people talking and tails wagging. This position starts at $16.00/hr, depending on experience. About Barkaritaville Pet Resort

We are a full-service, state-of-the-art pet resort in San Antonio, TX created and designed to provide a stress-free, home-like, and fun environment for pets. We offer lodging, grooming, daycare, and training. We are locally owned and managed with 25+ years of experience in the pet industry. Whether for a day or a whole vacation, each pet's stay is tailored to their needs and preferences. Our team is upbeat and happy, professionally dressed, and knows what's expected of them. Responsibilities

• Serve as the first point of contact for most services, establishing trust with current and future clients
• Take reservations, answer questions, and resolve concerns both in person and over the phone
• Check animals in for services, greet clients warmly, listen carefully, and ensure each pet parent's instructions and needs are addressed
• Handle client billing and daily cash reports with attention to detail and accuracy
• Assist with all aspects of pet care as needed
• Thrive in a busy, fast-paced environment with constant interaction with pets, people, and phones

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent
• 3+ years of customer service experience
• Ability to multi-task well in a fast-paced environment
• Strong phone skills
• Computer literacy with ability to use in-house software and Microsoft Office
• Ability to learn and remember information accurately
• Ability to handle animals in a humane and gentle manner at all times
• Passion for people and pets
• Positive, can-do attitude
• Team player
• Reliable, dependable, and punctual
• Excellent communication skills
• Highly organized and able to prioritize tasks effectively
• Previous experience at a pet resort or similar environment is a plus but not required

Schedule

• Front office hours: Monday–Friday 7:00 am–6:00 pm; every other Saturday 8:00 am–5:00 pm; Sunday for scheduled pick-ups 4:00 pm–6:00 pm
• Flexible schedule, 20–30 hours per week (part-time)
• Must be available before holidays and weekends (busiest times)
• Little or no absenteeism is extremely important for animal stability
