Job Summary

GAT is seeking a Full Time, Non-Exempt Operations Manager with a strong drive for results and continual improvement. The role involves establishing safety policies, procedures, and working conditions, conducting safety meetings, and ensuring compliance with regulatory agencies.

Job Duties

  • Conduct monthly safety meetings for all employees
  • Conduct flight audits, station audits, and "at risk" behavior audits
  • Communicate safety policies and procedures to all employees
  • Coordinate activities to maintain a safe work environment
  • Work with Customer to determine manpower requirements
  • Oversee recruiting and placement efforts to meet staffing requirements
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory agencies
  • Investigate and report incidents of aircraft damage or employee injury
  • Administer personnel evaluations and conduct disciplinary actions
  • Coordinate purchases and ensure adequate supplies
  • Review and monitor operational reports
  • Investigate service failures and chargeable delays
  • Administer station operational plans
  • Liaise with customers, airport authorities, and other stakeholders
  • Attend and participate in various meetings and inspections

Requirements

  • Strong understanding of Airline Customer Service Operations
  • At least 18 years old, basic computer experience (6 months+), typing at least 35 words per minute
  • 4 year college degree in relevant field or equivalent experience
  • High school diploma, GED, or equivalent work experience, high attention to detail
  • Fluent in English, good communication skills, friendly personality
  • Free of disqualifying crimes, passed a pre-employment drug test
  • Reliable transportation, ability to work weekends, holidays, and days off
