Qualifications

• Must have any one of the following mandated courses: Basic Police (~640 hrs), Basic Corrections Local (~240 hrs), Basic Parole & Probation (~200 hrs), Armed Parole & Probation (~74 hrs), Basic Telecommunicator (~116 hrs), Basic EMD (~24 hrs)
• Must be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent, or 5 years of verifiable experience

Requirements

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles
• Pass a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws
• Pass a drug screen to the extent permitted by law
• Licenses and certifications are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations
