Responsibilities
- Assist passengers in boarding and disembarking flights
- Maintain computerized passenger boarding systems
- Support customers with special needs, such as wheelchair assistance and unaccompanied minors
- Modify customer flight itineraries and seat assignments as necessary
- Operate the Jetway
- Collaborate with team members to ensure top-notch customer service and meet corporate objectives
Requirements
- Successfully complete the Gate Agent training course
- Capable of lifting up to 70 pounds
- Willing to work all shifts, including weekends, nights, holidays, and irregular hours
Qualifications and Competencies
- Completion of a training course
- Able to meet company goals and customer expectations in a high-energy environment
- Strong communication skills
- Ability to organize, prioritize, and manage multiple tasks effectively
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous airline experience
- Experience working in front-line customer service
- Basic knowledge of computer applications and programs
Physical Requirements
- Frequent stooping, bending, kneeling, walking, standing, reaching, lifting, and climbing stairs
- Handling objects weighing up to 70 pounds
- Assisting passengers with disabilities, including pushing wheelchairs
Job Qualifications
- Valid driver's license and clear driving record
- Criminal History Records Check
- Drug screen
- High school diploma or equivalent
- At least 18 years of age
