About the role

As a Gaming Associate, you’ll be at the heart of the action, using your skills in numbers and attention to detail to thrive in high-energy environments. This is a full-time, hands-on opportunity perfect for driven individuals looking to grow professionally.

Responsibilities

  • Use your knack for numbers and keen attention to detail to assist customers and maintain the smooth operation of the gaming floor.
  • Handle cash transactions and manage chips with precision.
  • Provide excellent customer service and resolve issues promptly.
  • Stay updated on new games and promotions to enhance the gaming experience.
  • Participate in comprehensive training to ensure you’re fully prepared for the role.

Requirements

  • Must be 21 years of age or older.
  • Authorization to work in the U.S.
  • Proficient in mental math (addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division).
  • Open availability for the casino's 24/7 hours of operation.
  • Pass a lifetime background check, credit check, and drug screen for state licensure.

Qualifications

  • Able to sit or stand at a gaming table for 3 to 4 hours at a time.
  • Able to use hands and fingers in a dexterous manner (movements include rotating wrists, grabbing, pulling, pushing, pinching, painting, tapping).
  • Able to lift 5–10 pounds for chip management and bank reconciliation (varies by location).
  • Able to see, speak, and hear clearly during gameplay.
  • Has necessary vision capabilities: close, distance, color, peripheral, and depth perception.
  • Comfortable with direct communication and giving corrections when needed.
  • Able to stay focused and manage stress effectively in fast-paced, high-pressure environments.

Skills

This role requires a combination of technical skills and soft skills. You should be comfortable with numbers, have strong interpersonal skills, and be able to handle high-pressure situations calmly.

Pay

$24 - $26 per hour (the additional $2/hour is for late-night shifts)

Schedule

Part-time. 3 days per week, 8 hours per shift. Weekday Requirement: Monday to Friday availability is required. Shifts: Be prepared to work a 12 pm - 8 pm shift

12 pm - 8 pm

Bay Area pay range $24 - $26 USD
