About Our Client: The organization operates in the benefits administration sector, serving labor unions, credit unions, and associations. It provides tailored benefits information and support to union members, including police officers, firefighters, teachers, and postal workers. With established relationships with more than 20,000 union associations in Southern California, the organization supports a large and diverse membership base. About the Opportunity: The Customer Service role helps union members understand and access the benefits available through their affiliations. This position responds to member inquiries, provides clear information about available options, and supports members based on their individual needs. The role does not involve unsolicited sales or cold calling and focuses on serving established union relationships. Responsibilities: • Educate union members who request information about available benefits.• Provide responsive and professional customer service focused on member needs.• Answer questions and explain available benefit options clearly and accurately.• Assist members in accessing additional benefits when they voluntarily choose to participate.• Maintain professional relationships with established union associations and their members.• Support members throughout the benefits information and enrollment process.• Maintain accurate records and follow established service procedures. Requirements: • Must reside in California.• Flexible availability and willingness to work varied hours.• Fluent in English; bilingual communication skills are a plus but not required.• Self-motivated with strong leadership potential and a proactive approach to work.• Strong customer service orientation and exceptional interpersonal skills.• High level of integrity, professionalism, and commitment to helping others.• Interest in professional development and long-term career growth.
