Performs technical, mainly pre-defined tasks for accomplishing defined service delivery work for customer equipment. Service Area – NY Metro.

Responsibilities

  • Servicing MRI (Magnetic Resonance Imaging) and CT (Computer Tomography) equipment.
  • Installing, troubleshooting, repairing, and performing preventative maintenance on all Siemens Healthineers equipment.
  • Delivering timely and effective repairs and adequate training of operators to ensure optimal system performance, resulting in superior customer satisfaction.
  • Managing financial performance within territory through inventory management, time management, and timely service call closure.
  • Managing company assets including a company car, cell phone, computer, tools, inventory parts, etc.
  • Establishing and maintaining proper business relationships with customers and peers, and performing necessary administrative duties accurately.

Requirements

  • Knowledge and experience performing service, preventative maintenance, and modifications on Medical Imaging Equipment at customer sites with minimal supervision.
  • Ability and experience to establish and maintain proper business relationships with customers and peers, and performing necessary administrative duties accurately.
  • Experience in testing, repairing, and maintaining capital medical equipment.
  • Strong customer service and communication skills.
  • Proficiency in the use of tools and service test equipment (DMM, Oscilloscope, torque wrenches, etc.).
  • General understanding of the principles of electricity, power supplies, and grounding.
  • Minimum high school diploma; technical degree, military training, or equivalent applicable training preferred.
  • Proficiency in MS Office applications.
  • 3+ years’ experience of complex electro‑mechanical work, or as a medical technologist or field service engineer (biomedical engineer) servicing diagnostic instruments.
  • Valid driver's license, ability to drive independently day and night, and good driving record required.
  • Physical requirements: lifting 50 lbs (floor to above waist/head), walking, ladder/stepstool climbing, bending, twisting, sitting, squatting, standing, high‑reach, fine grasping manipulation, good vision, ability to work alone.
  • Highly organized and able to plan.

Pay

The base pay range for this position is $64‑74 hourly; base pay offered may vary depending on job‑related knowledge, skills, and experience.

Schedule

Monday – Friday, 4:00 PM – 12:00 AM (after onboarding/training)
