Position Summary
Performs the duties necessary to ensure patients accounts are resolved in a timely manner.
Education
- High School diploma or equivalent.
Training And Experience
- Prior experience in medical field preferred.
Knowledge
- Knowledge of but not limited to admitting/registration process, receivables management, credit and collection laws, billing forms, medical billing regulations, insurance benefit calculations, HMO/PPO contracts, third party funding resources.
Job Knowledge
- General knowledge of medical business office practices.
Skills
- Strong communication skills.
- Basic understanding of business application software.

- Ability to maintain calm temperament under stressful conditions.
- Good math skills, deductive reasoning and general office machine operations.
