Responsibilities
- Manage customer orders from receipt through fulfillment using EDI and manual order processing systems.
- Enter and update customer orders accurately and efficiently.
- Review order data for discrepancies and resolve issues quickly.
- Maintain detailed records of customer interactions, order changes, and resolutions.
- Coordinate closely with production, logistics, and sales teams to ensure timely order fulfillment.
- Track order status and proactively communicate updates to customers.
- Analyze large datasets and item spreadsheets using Excel to support customer and operational needs.
- Respond to inquiries regarding orders, products, inventory availability, and shipping status.
- Investigate and resolve customer concerns while providing outstanding service.
Requirements
- 5-7 years of customer service, order management, or account coordination experience.
- Background supporting B2B customers in a manufacturing, food production, distribution, consumer goods, furniture, or other product-based environment.
- Experience working with major retailers, grocery chains, distributors, or large commercial accounts.
- Strong order entry and data management experience.
- Familiarity with EDI systems and electronic order processing.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
- Able to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Qualifications
- Advanced Microsoft Excel proficiency: Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, Advanced Formulas, Data Analysis, Managing large SKU and inventory spreadsheets.
- Experience with EDI order processing systems preferred.
- Experience with Macros or advanced reporting tools plus.
